Lennox International

Lennox International designs and manufactures heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems, serving more than 70 countries through residential, commercial and parts segments.

Lennox International designs and manufactures climate control solutions for the heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) markets. Founded in Marshalltown, Iowa, in 1895 and listed on the New York Stock Exchange as LII, the company employs 14,200 people and serves customers in more than 70 countries. It operates through three business segments and maintains manufacturing operations in Iowa, South Carolina and Mexico.

The residential segment, sold under the Lennox Residential brand, supplies premium home heating and cooling equipment. The Building Climate Solutions segment covers commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems through Lennox Commercial and Heatcraft Refrigeration, including the Bohn, Larkin, Climate Control and Chandler brands. The Parts & Supplies segment distributes HVACR components and consumables through LennoxPros, Duro Dyne and Supco, supported by digital tools aimed at dealers and contractors.

The company's technical record stretches back to the world's first riveted-steel furnace, invented by Dave Lennox in 1895 to replace crack-prone cast-iron units. Lennox pioneered residential forced-air heating in 1923 and introduced the industry's first high-efficiency gas furnaces in 1973. Work continues on energy-efficient climate control systems and reducing the carbon footprint of its products and operations.

Lennox states its core values as Integrity, Respect and Excellence, and reports an emphasis on energy efficiency, including industry-leading SEER ratings, alongside direct-to-network distribution and support for dealers and contractors.
