It was formed in 2022 through the merger of NorthShore University Health System and Edward-Elmhurst Health, combining two long-established providers into a single organisation serving more than 4.2 million residents across six counties in the Chicagoland region.
The system operates nine award-winning hospitals and more than 300 ambulatory care locations, alongside walk-in immediate care clinics open seven days a week.
